The education department has transferred 2282 primary teachers in the master cadre by giving promotion. Punjab Education Minister Om Prakash Soni said that after the introduction of the new educational session, the promotion of Master Cadre from ETT cadre has been made from the education department on behalf of the education department to provide teachers to the schools. In this, 895 science, 478 mathematics, 625 English, 274 social education and 10 Hindi subjects have been filled up by promotion. Due to lack of vacancy in the rest of the subjects, the promotion has not been done at this time.
The initiative of Sony's Initiative Department, in particular, has been asked for the first time promotion of teachers in the English subject, whereas the rest of the teachers of the subjects were given preferential treatment. Along with that, mathematics and science subjects have been given much importance and the backlog of promotional quota has been completed.
Instructions were made to the teachers receiving these progress to be present by the department concerned to the District Education Officer (Secondary Education). On behalf of the department, it has been decided to allot the stations on merit basis in a transparent manner to the teachers receiving these promotional posts. All these teachers will be allotted stations in the main office on July 23 and 24.
