Himachal Govt to Constitute State education council

Government of the Himachal will constitute the State Education Council. The process regarding this has become faster. According to sources, this agenda is to be discussed in the upcoming Cabinet meeting. To improve the falling level of education in the state, a statement from all the departments has been sought for making State Education Council in Himachal, after which it is to be taken to the cabinet.

For the first time, such a state education council will be formed in Himachal in all the departments to monitor the related schemes and issues. It will also have the powers to take action along with it. It will be a council that will work on all related matters related to education in all the departments of the state. Its Chairman itself will be the State CM Jayaram Thakur. Apart from this, the Council members will include the top officers of the Education Department.
