Congress President Kuldeep Singh Rathore has demanded the government to restore the old pension system to all the employees of the state.
He has also supported this demand of employees, in which if he becomes disabled or dies due to government service, then he is demanding a grant of Gravity and Family Pension on the lines of the Central Government.
Rathore said that any government employee is an integral part of the government. He said that all the developmental and governmental works of the government are carried out by this employee only, so after retirement, pension should be applied.
Rathore said that the family pension should be provided with DCRG, facility to all employees who retired after 15 May 2003 on the lines of the Central Government in the event of any employee being disabled while in service or dying. Whereas, at present this facility is being given only to the employees who retired after 18 September 2017.
He has drawn the attention of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur to his budget speech of 6 March 2020, in which he had announced to give full benefits to about 5500 retired employees remaining between 2003 and 2017, which has not been completed till date. He has said that the Chief Minister should complete all the announcements of his budget speech soon.
Rathore has urged Chief Minister Jairam Thakur that old pension be restored in view of the interests of retired employees in the state.
