Qualification for Lecturers
a. Should have passed M.A./ M. Sc in concerned subject at least with 55% and should have
passed B.Ed with teaching subject Punjabi from a recognized university
b. Knowledge of Punjabi language of Matriculation Standard.
Selection criteria :
a. Selection will be done as per merit which shall be based on the marks obtained in the stale level written test to be conducted by the Department.
Age
(i) Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 0l_ 0l-2020.
(ii) Upper age limit may be relaxed upto 45 years for employees of Punjab Covt' and its Boards Corporations Commissions and Authorities, all States/ Central Government employees.

Essential Qualificstions a) Should have passed four years integrated course of Bachelor of Physical Education fron a recognized university or institution after 10+2 atleast with 55% marks OR Bachelors degree atleast with 55% mark with Physical Education as a subject in three years graduation Course from a rccognized university or intitution ard should have acquired one year course of B.P.Ed/D.P.Ei fiom a recognized University or institution as p€r guidelines of the University Grants Commission OR Bachelor's Degree from a recognized univercity or institution atleast with 55% marks and having participated in National or Stale Cames or Athletics or Cricket which are being organized by the Indian/Punjab Olympic Associatior/State Sports Association and in addition should have acquired one year course of B.P.Ed/D.P.Ed from a recognized university or institution after graduation as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission. b).
