Respected Shrimati Heeraben II,

It is with regret, the British Educational and Cultural Association of Sikhs (BECAS) Bradford UK is
making an appeal to you to have some consultation with your son the Honourable Prime Minister of
India, Modi.
As you are indeed a respectable mum to Shri Modi Jl, so should all mums be respected too. Mothers
of any Indian State are regarded respectable and equally they hold precious status in any family they
belong to. But some female stars in support with BJP are dishonouring the mothers of Punjab who
have joined the Kissan/Mazdoor Anndolan in petition to scrap the Agricultural Laws.
We urge that Shri Narendra Modi ji and his government should take appropriate action against their
supporters to stop using such foul language for mums of Punjab.
We hope you will do everything possible to ensure that the Indian values of respect of mothers and
sisters of the country are upheld.

आदरणीय श्रीमती हीराबेन जी,
बड़े खेद के साथ हम आप से आपके बेटे
और भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से बात
करने की अपील करते हैं। सभी माताओं का
उसी तरह से सम्मान किया जाना चाहिए,
जिस तरह से आप मोदी जी की सम्मानित
मां हैं। भारत के हर राज्य में मां समान
रूप से सम्मानित हैं और हर परिवार में
उनको एक विशेष दर्जा मिलता है।
भाजपा
समर्थक कुछ एक्ट्रेस पंजाब की उन मांओं
को बदनाम कर रही हैं, जो कृषि कानूनों
को खत्म करने की मांग करते हुए किसान
आंदोलन में शामिल हुई हैं।
हम मोदी जी और उनकी सरकार से
अपील करते हैं कि पंजाब की मांओं के
बारे में गलत भाषा का इस्तेमाल करने वाले
समर्थकों को रोकें और उनके खिलाफ उचित
कार्रवाई करें। हमें उम्मीद है कि आप देश
की मां-बहनों के सम्मान की भारतीय परंपरा
को बनाए रखने की पूरी कोशिश करेंगे।
लोगों की बात सुनना नेता का फर्ज

दुग्गल ने कहा, 'सभी को उनका हक मिलना
चाहिए। भारत एक लोकतांत्रिक देश है और
लोकतंत्र लोगों के दिल की आवाज है। लोग
अपना नेता चुनते हैं। इन हालात में लोगों को
सुनना नेता का फर्ज हो जाता है। चाहे मां
पंजाब की हो या किसी और राज्य की। हमें
मानवता को समझना चाहिए।'
