Eligible applicants are invited to submit online applications from 22-02-2021 to 14-03-2021 (up to
05.00 P.M.) in the prescribed online format available at website: https://pwrmdc.punjab.gov.in –
(“Recruitment”) for the
total 262 No. Posts of different categories (Company Secretary-01,
Tubewell Operator-253, Electrician-08) with online payment mode.
Educational Qualification and pay scale:
The candidate entitled to fee concession MUST SUBMIT with their application form a
self-attested copy of the certificate, certifying their claim for fee concession at the time of
counselling. Candidates who do not submit such a certificate shall not be entitled to fee concession
under any circumstances. Failing to produce the certificate in counselling would result in
cancellation of his/her candidature and next candidate in the merit list will be selected.
AGE AS ON 01.01.2021 : Candidates should not be less than 18 years and more than 37 years of age as on
01.01.2021.
Examination Pattern:
Different exam will be taken for the post of Company Secretary, Tubewell Operator and
Electrician.
Candidate can apply for each post. Minimum marks for qualifying written exam for any
post and any category will be 20%.
There will be negative marking (1/4th marks shall be deducted
for every wrong answer). The candidate will mark their answer on OMR sheet.
The question papers
of Tubewell Operator and Electrician cadre will be in English and Punjabi (except language part)
and the question papers of Company Secretary will be in English only.
The duration of exam will be
maximum two hours.
The Written exam will have 100 objective type questions with multiple choice
answers, each carrying one mark as per details given below
PAY SCALE AND PROBATION :-
I. The Pay Scale admissible to these new recruitments will be applicable as per
Government of Punjab, Department of Finance letter No. 7/42/2020-5FPI/741-746
dated 17-07-2020, No. 7/116/2020-1FP1/1268 dated 03-12-2020 and No. 7/116/20-
3FP1/96 dated 25-01-2021 and as amended from time to time.
II. The instructions issued by the Finance Department vide notification No. 7/204/2012-
4FPI/60 dated 15-01-2015, letter No. 7/204/2012-4FP1/853793/1 dated 04-10-2016
and letters issued in continuation thereof, regarding grant of basic pay (minimum of
the pay band) and allowances during the probation period shall also be applicable to
the fresh recruitments.
III. If candidate is working in the Other Government Departments/Boards/Corporations/
PSU's offices he/she had lien on same post, then during the probation period of
his/her new post, he/she shall be paid the pay which he/she was drawing on the post
on which he/she had the lien.
IV. The employee shall be however covered under Employee Provident Fund Scheme.

iii) Every successful registration will be allotted the Login ID and Password.
iv) Get the print out of the successful registered application form.
v) Incomplete form or forms filled with wrong information, the candidature shall stand
automatically cancelled / rejected and shall not be considered for further processing.
vi) Only Online registered application forms will be entertained.
