(a). Essential Qualification i.) Should be Matriculate or its equivalent
form recognized board of School education/
institution.
ii.) As per Govt. Notification No. Per (AP)-C-
C (17)-2/2018, Dated-19.11.2019, a candidate
shall be eligible for appointment to Driver, if
he/she has passed Middle or Matriculation
from any School/Institution situated within
Himachal Pradesh.
Provided this condition shall not apply to
Bonafide Himachali.
iii) Must possess valid driving license for the
plying of heavy/light vehicles in hilly terrain
(b). Desirable qualification : Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects
of Himachal Pradesh and suitability of
appointment in the peculiar conditions
prevailing in the Himachal Pradesh.
Age limit : Between 18 and 45 years (as on 31.1.2021)
Last date for applying : The application alongwith the relevant supporting documents including valid driving license for plying of heavy/light
vehicles in hilly terrain should reach in the office of the Health and family
welfare Directorate, Shimla-171009 on dated 20.02.2021 and tribal area
respectively by 26.02.2021.
The application received after the last date will be
rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. No TA/DA
will be payable to the applicants for appearing in screening test Practical
