Vijay Inder Singla said that under the online transfer policy, teachers can apply for transfers in the session 2021-22 but these transfers will be effective only after April 10, 2021 or the commencement of the new session.
Giving more details in this regard, the Cabinet Minister said that the teachers who had applied in the session 2020-21 do not need to re-apply but if the teachers want to revise the data they can.
He said that for the first time around 7300 teachers were transferred by the education department under the online transfer policy. He said that during the session 2020-21 many teachers had applied for transfers online but due to the outbreak of Kovid-19 epidemic the schools were closed for a long time and no transfers were made in the session 2020-21.
He said that now for the session 2021-22 besides all the regular teachers, computer faculties, education personnel, EGS volunteers, STRs, AIEs have also been given the opportunity to apply.
