Himachal Hill Porter Coy will be recruiting the following Civ labours (Porters) on a contractual (temporary)
basis for duration of 90 days with further scope of extension up to 89 days:-
(a) Porters :541
(b) Mates and other Civilians 51
(c) Safaiwala: 08
Total 600
2. Eligibility Criteria
(a) should be citizen of India
(b) Should be between 18 to 40 years of age as on 01 Jul, 2021.
(c) Individual should be Medically/Physically fit and should not be suffering from any contagious disease.
(d) Individual should be in possession of Aadhar Card, Ration Card, VoterCard Certificate from Village Panchayat.
(e) Should not have undergone any imprisonment(Local police station certificate to this effect to be brought
by the individual at the time of recruitment).
3. In view of ongoing to Covid-19 Pandemic, registration of porters will be done online on (https://himachalhill portercompany.org) onty. The online registration will be available for 10 days from date of advertisement.
4. Place of Test/Interview Karcham, Distt- Kinnuar, (HP).
5. Time & Date of Interview 0800 Hrs to 1700 Hrs from 13 Jul, 2021 to 17 Jul, 2021. Candidates to report strictly on the date mention on their admit card downloaded from (https://himachalhillportercompany.org). Recruitment will be based on first come first serve basis.
6. Documents required to be brought by the individual:-
(a) Aadhaar Card in original alongwith three photocopies duly attested.
b) Bank Pass Book (SBVPNB Only) in original along with two photocopies.
c) No Jan Dhan Bank Account is admissible.
(d) Domicile cert.
(e) Mobile No. (Own & NOK).
f) Single Photo (Colour)
g) Jt photo with NOK (Colour) - 04
(n) Character certificate issued by a Gazetted Officer on or after 10 May, 2021.
0) Police verification certificate from the nearest pofice station in original not earlier than 30 Jun, 2021.
(h) Admit card downloaded from (https://himachalhillportercompany.org).
7. Quarantine Period. The porters will be quarantined for 10 days under the army arrangement. However, the quarantine period will not be included in the 90 days of employment period.
(c) Accommodation: Whleon duty, individual will be provided field type/tented accommodation, depending
upon availability of the same.
(d) Conveyance: Conveyance shall be provided as follows:-
(1) From place of recruitment to the place of duty and subsequent moves on duty.
) For move of urgent cases for medical treatment.
(ii) On completion of engagement, free conveyance from place of duty to place of recruitment
(e) Ration: Individual will be provided with free rations at the scale of combatant soldiers, when serving in
operationalfield/modified field areas
Leave: In addition to one day leave after six working days, individual will be entitled to three national
holidays. In view of Covid-19 pandemic, no outstation leave will be pemitted for the period of employment.
(g) Medical Facilities: Individual will be provided with free medical treatment to the extent feasible for self
only in Military and Civil Hospitals, for injuries, ailments/disease sustained by the individual while at work.
(h) Discipline: During the period of contract, the individual will be subject to Army Act and Army Rules.
If his performance and behaviour found unsatisfactory, his contract will be terminated and will be put in blacklist & individual would not be able to participate in Red Rally for next three years.
() COVID-19. All precautions in view of prevailing COVID-19 pandemic shall be observed by candidates.
Candidates should carry a COVID-19 negative certificate by RTPCR not more than 72 Hrs from recruitment date. Move restriction/guidelines as laid down by State Government during the time of recruitment shall be applicable.
