Chief Minister celebrates Holi
Shimla, 8 March
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today celebrated Holi at the Peterhof, Shimla with Cabinet Ministers, Congress leaders, prominent people and citizens of Shimla city. On this festival of colours, the Chief Minister said that we all should celebrate this festival with traditional fervor and gaiety. He wished that this festival of colours would bring happiness and prosperity in the lives of the people and State.
He expressed hope that the festival would further strengthen the unity and integrity of the country. Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Education Minister Rohit Thakur, Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh, PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, Principal Advisor (Media) to Chief Minister Naresh Chauhan, Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister Vivek Bhatia and senior officers were also present on the occasion amongst others. Earlier, the Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu visited Raj Bhawan and greeted Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Holi.
